The services I provide are charged on an hourly basis. This amounts to €59 incl. VAT. You pay for the hours I actually work.

Exceptions confirm the rule here as well. So I have a few services in the program that have a fixed price - for example, cutting claws 10 € incl. VAT.

Take a look at the appointment booking tool without obligation. There you will find guidelines for individual treatments and their prices. The treatment times given are based on experience and depend heavily on the condition of your pet and its willingness to cooperate.

Your pet's fur is brushed with a brush that matches the fur structure.

A comb is then used to check whether any knots and felts that may have been present have been removed.

When carding, the undercoat is thoroughly removed from the coat with special combs and brushes. After that, the skin has air again, regenerates itself from dandruff, for example, and the dog sweats less in summer.

TIP: Before carding, I recommend bathing the dog with an undercoat loosening shampoo and conditioner. During the subsequent blow-drying, a large part of the undercoat flies out.

It is called the manual plucking of dead hair.

In addition to the fingers, trimming stones or trimming knives are used as tools.

With particularly "mature" fur, itching often occurs, which disappears when the hair is plucked.

The skin can then recover from the old loads.

Dog breeds that are trimmed include most terriers, setters and, for example, cocker spaniels.

This removes strongly knotted hair that can no longer be removed by simply brushing. If the affected areas are too large or too close to the skin, only a felt cord remains.

TIP: If brushing is done regularly at home with the right utensils and the right technique, felt hardly has a chance!

IMPORTANT: WIf a dog with trimmed hair or a double-layered coat with an undercoat is clipped, irreversible damage can occur - hair growth may be permanently damaged!

When bathing, the dog is washed with special care products that are tailored to the dog's pH value. The products are selected individually according to the condition of the fur and needs. Optionally, a conditioner can be used if necessary, for example to loosen the undercoat, improve combability or give the hair more body.

With special scissors for dog fur, the hair is brought into the desired shape.

TIP: Ein Bad in advance makes the cut more accurate, looks longer "like fresh from the hairdresser" and protects the wear and tear of the scissors - the hairdresser thanks you.

Dogs with a single layer of fur (without an undercoat) or with a felt clip are shorn.

The "Emmi pet 2.0" is used for dental care of your four-legged friend - a vibration-free ultrasonic toothbrush.

A special dog toothpaste is also used to optimally transmit the sound waves to the tooth and gums. The sound dissolves the plaque and tartar so that the teeth can then be optimally cleaned with special cutlery.

TIP: A regular dental care treatment can save your darling from a dental sanitation under general anesthesia.

The dog's eyes and ears also require regular care.

If the eyes are irritated by long hair in front of the eyes, they start to water - apart from the fact that the animal suffers from it, an unsightly discoloration occurs and the fur sticks together.

Pet ears must also be checked regularly and, if necessary, cleaned of dirt with a special cleaning solution. Some dog breeds are also prone to excessive hair growth in their ears. It is no longer adequately ventilated and can catch fire.

Paw care includes trimming the claws. These grow steadily and, in case of doubt, can lead to postural damage or grow in and become inflamed.

TIP: If your dog is standing on level ground, the claws should not touch the ground.

Bale care is also one of them. Here, a balm is applied and massaged in, it protects against environmental influences such as road salt. The skin is also kept elastic and does not tear.

The hair between the pads is shorn off with special paw scissors or a small clipper - painful felts can no longer develop.

If I discover a tick or other parasite during a treatment, I will of course remove it. I will also inform you if follow-up treatment is recommended, for example by the veterinarian.

Cats are also very welcome!

IMPORTANT: Appointments for a cat treatment can be booked by phone or in person on site.

I recommend this training to every dog owner who wants to go to the dog groomer with his four-legged friend in the future. The animal can get to know everyday life in the salon in a relaxed manner and does not associate it negatively. Ultimately, a relaxed dog makes the hairdresser's job easier and much safer.

Thalasso:

A mixture of North Sea silt (algae) and sea minerals. It is enriched with sage and rosemary extract as well as lipids from olive and sunflower. The Thalasso-therapeutic effect is created by massaging into the skin and coat. Excess sebum, dirt and toxins are removed, thanks to which it eliminates odors, has an anti-inflammatory effect, relieves itching and swelling. The rich minerals in connection with the massage stimulate the metabolism, have a warming effect and can thus relieve muscle and joint pain. You will also notice the supple coat and the dwindling hair in the apartment.
